Shengli Bohai Drilling Company (SBDC) is one of the subsidiary firms under the mother company of Shengli Petroleum Administration Bureau of China. With strong expertise and experience both locally and abroad, SBDC is one of the major drilling contractors in the republic of China and has strong expertise and experience both locally and abroad. SBDC specializes in the drilling of deep and shallow oil wells.

Due to its extensive experience in drilling activities, the company has expanded its operations in the Middle East, primarily into Egypt. As part of its expansion plan, SBDC signed an agent agreement with Target Oilfield Services in December 2000.

In Egypt SBDC currently operates through its onshore drilling rigs and has a fleet of 5 drilling and work over onshore rigs including:

>> ZJ-45: 1500 HP Mechanical Type Rig
>> ZJ-46: 2000 HP Electric SCR system with Top Drive
>> ZJ-47: 2000 HP Electric SCR system with Top Drive
>> ZJ-50: 1500 HP Electric SCR system with Top Drive
>> XJ-650: 650 HP Work Over Rig
